This week, we were thrilled to announce a new milestone. AWS developers have already enjoyed the benefits of our integration into AWS Marketplace, and now, we're excited to bring the same convenience to Google Cloud's developers. With Zilliz Cloud now available on Google Cloud Marketplace, you can take advantage of Google Cloud's infrastructure and resources with simplified payment methods.
Why does this matter?
AI developers increasingly seek vector databases like Zilliz Cloud, and we're focused on streamlining their experience. Previously, using Zilliz Cloud on Google Cloud involved extra payment and procurement steps, complicating billing for developers.
Now, Zilliz Cloud is available through the GCP marketplace, allowing subscription with your existing Google Cloud account. This integration simplifies billing, as Zilliz Cloud charges appear on your regular Google Cloud bill.
This integration also offers flexibility to scale your Zilliz Cloud usage on Google Cloud without detailed budget planning. Your Zilliz Cloud usage counts towards your Google Cloud commitment, optimizing resource allocation.
How to get started?
Now, let's move on to the step-by-step setup guide for Google Cloud developers looking to start with Zilliz Cloud quickly.
Step 1: Locate Zilliz Cloud
Head over to GCP Marketplace. Search for “Zilliz Cloud” in the search box, or use this direct link to find Zilliz Cloud on GCP.
Step 2: Choose Your Project
Identify and select the appropriate project for your needs. Confirm your choice by clicking the 'Subscribe' button, as illustrated below!
Step 3: Confirm Subscription Details
On the subscription page for New Zilliz Cloud:
Select a billing account from the 'Purchase details' dropdown.
Read and agree to the Terms.
Click 'Subscribe' to move forward.

Step 4: Complete the Subscription
When you click the 'Subscribe' button, a pop-up window will appear. Click on 'SIGN UP WITH ZILLIZ' to proceed to the next stage.
In the new tab that opens:
Log In or Sign Up:
Existing Zilliz Cloud users: Simply log in with your credentials.
New users: Select a sign-up option and complete the registration process.
Organization Linking: After logging in or registering, link your subscription to an existing Zilliz Cloud organization. If you don't have one, you'll have the option to create a new organization.
Finalize Subscription: Complete the authorization process to finalize your subscription, applicable to both existing and new users.
After Completing These Steps, your subscription will be fully configured and ready for use. You can also visit the Billing section to confirm that your GCP Marketplace subscription is set as your payment method.
Once set up, you can sign in to Zilliz Cloud, select your preferred product tier and compute unit, create your first Zilliz Cloud Clusters, and start your vector search project.
With the subscription confirmed, you gain full access to all Zilliz features without upfront costs. Your usage will be tracked, and a monthly invoice will be provided for a smooth, transparent billing experience.
